This spread is designed to illuminate the roles, motivations, and fears in a relationship between two people. This is not restricted to a particular type of relationship or single aspect of a relationship (romance, work, etc.), it looks at the whole of the relationship between the two people.
If the querant is one of the people, they are person A, otherwise person A should be the one that the querant is closer to/knows better.
